Freelance Data & Backend Engineering

I’m a freelance Data Engineer and Python Backend Developer specializing in robust, cloud‑native data pipelines and scalable backend services. I build maintainable ETL systems, orchestrate complex workflows, and integrate data tooling into production environments so teams can ship faster and trust their data.

What I do

• Design and implement end‑to‑end data pipelines using Python, SQL, and cloud services (mostly AWS but opened to GCP and others).
• Integrate modern data toolchains (dbt, Dagster, Airflow, Airbyte, Great Expectations) for reliable, testable data transformations and workflows.
• Develop and maintain data warehouses and lakes (e.g., PostgreSQL, Redshift, Snowflake‑style patterns) with performance‑oriented modeling.
• Write clean, tested backend services with Django, Flask, or lightweight APIs, deployed via containers and serverless.
• Implement automation scripts in pure Python.
• Automate infrastructure and CI/CD with IaC‑style patterns, GitOps, and GitHub Actions.

I work best as a hands‑on engineer embedded in your team, either as:

• A long‑term freelance partner for architecture and implementation, or
• A short‑term contractor to unblock data/backend challenges and raise the bar for your team.
